“True. But when two showers are on at once, the water pressure sucks, and you have no idea what it takes to maintain this hair,” Ollie said, loosening the long blond braid that fell down his back.

Continuing to brush his teeth with one hand, Rafe held up two fingers on his other hand and imitated scissors cutting.

“Not fucking likely, bro. A man’s hair is sacred.”

Rafe smirked around his toothbrush, knowing exactly how he’d get his revenge the next time Ollie pissed him off.

“So, why were you wanking?” his brother asked as he peeled off his jeans and T-shirt and climbed in the shower. “I thought you and Janie were bumping uglies again.”

Rafe spit toothpaste into the sink and rinsed his mouth out. “We’re not ‘bumping uglies’, you crass arsehole.”

“Well you’re definitely doing something. We all heard Jane last night. And this morning. The walls aren’t exactly thick in this house, bro.”

“Fuck,” Rafe muttered and scrubbed his hands over his head, then leaned back against the vanity.
